Concrete pools

Concrete pools

A concrete pool is built once and lived in for decades, so the ground it sits in matters as much as the shape on top. We survey the soil, the fall and the access before we quote, then build a custom in-ground pool to a single fixed price with the fence and compliance already in it.

Scope

What this job includes.

  • Custom shapes, depths and finishes engineered to your block and your brief
  • Soil and rock tested up front so ground conditions are priced, not discovered mid-dig
  • Steel, shotcrete and waterproofing to spec, with each stage inspected
  • Coping, waterline tiling and the certified safety barrier, all named in the quote
Our system: Every concrete pool is quoted from a site survey, specified line by line, and built by our own crew to a dated program. The structure carries a 10-year written warranty.
How we quote it

One fixed price, every cost named.

Before you sign, the ground, the access and the fencing line are surveyed and priced. No provisional sums, no guesses left to settle later. The price that starts your build is the price that finishes it.

The 7-line quote
  1. 1 The site survey, costed. Soil and rock tested, fall and access measured, fencing line set. The ground conditions that blow other quotes out are priced here, not discovered mid-dig.
  2. 2 The pool, specified by name. Shell type, dimensions, depth, interior finish (the exact pebble or tile range), coping and waterline, all named. No "or similar".
  3. 3 Plant, fencing and compliance. Pump, filtration, sanitiser and the certified fence and barrier, listed as line items. Compliance certification is in the price, not a surprise at handover.
  4. 4 One fixed price, and the build program. A single contract price with no provisional sums, beside a dated build program. The number that starts the build is the number that finishes it.
If a quote doesn’t show these lines, you can’t compare it, and you don’t know what’s been cut.
How it runs

What happens, step by step.

1

Talk through the backyard

Tell us the space, the look and the budget. We talk straight about what fits and what it really costs before anyone visits.

2

Site survey and soil test

We test the ground, measure fall and access, and set the fencing line. This is where the costs that ambush other builds get found and priced.

3

One fixed-price proposal

Every line specified and named, a single contract price with no provisional sums, beside a dated build program.

4

Build, certify, hand over

Our own crew across every stage, the barrier certified, the plant commissioned, and a handover walk-through before the first swim.

Insured, covered, guaranteed

The paperwork behind the price.

Public liability to $20M, and a 10-year structural warranty, all in writing, all on request.

Every build is carried out under our QBCC licence, the licence required to build a pool in Queensland, and our public liability cover. The shell we pour carries a written 10-year structural warranty, so if the structure we built fails, we come back and put it right. Ask us for the licence number and the cover, and check them yourself before you pay a deposit.

The cover, the guarantee, and how to check each one.

Questions, answered

Concrete pools: common questions.

Why is concrete more expensive than fibreglass?
A concrete pool is built in place to any shape and depth, with a structure engineered to your soil, so it lasts decades and can be renovated rather than replaced. Fibreglass is faster and cheaper up front, but you take a fixed shape off a truck. We quote both honestly and tell you which suits your block.
How do you stop the price changing once you start digging?
We test the soil and rock and measure the access before we quote, so the conditions that turn into mid-build variations on other jobs are already priced into your fixed contract. There are no provisional sums.
