“We had two other quotes that were thousands cheaper until you read the fine print and found the provisional sums for rock. Aqualine soil-tested first, gave us one fixed price, and that is exactly what we paid. On a sloping Buderim block, that certainty was worth everything.”

“The pool, the paving and the deck were all one team and one program. Nothing was bolted on later at a premium and every finish lined up. Nathan walked the site before quoting and nothing surprised us after.”

“Small block, big covenant rulebook, and we still got a plunge pool that fits perfectly and passed approval first time. They sorted the fencing compliance as part of the price instead of leaving it to us.”

“Our twenty-year-old pool looked tired and the pump sounded like a tractor. They resurfaced it, retiled the waterline, fitted a quiet variable-speed pump and brought the fence up to code. It looks like a brand new pool for a fraction of replacing it.”

“They talked me out of the biggest system and into the one that suited how we actually use the pool. The power bill dropped noticeably and I run the whole thing from my phone now.”

“Honest from the first phone call. They turned up when they said, the build hit every date on the program, and the magnet-sweep clean-up at the end was a nice touch. The kids have not been out of it since.”

“Sloped, clay block that two builders shied away from. Aqualine engineered the retaining, priced it all up front, and there were no nasty surprises when they dug in. Proper professionals.”

“They refurbished our complex pool around our guest bookings, kept most of it open, and handled all the compliance paperwork the body corporate usually ends up chasing. Delivered on the dates they promised.”

How it runs

What happens next, step by step.

1

Talk through the backyard

Tell us the space, the look and the budget. We talk straight about what fits and what it really costs before anyone visits.

2

Site survey and soil test

We test the ground, measure fall and access, and set the fencing line. This is where the costs that ambush other builds get found and priced.

3

One fixed-price proposal

Every line specified and named, a single contract price with no provisional sums, beside a dated build program.

4

Build, certify, hand over

Our own crew across every stage, the barrier certified, the plant commissioned, and a handover walk-through before the first swim.

Why us

A fixed price that holds to the last day.

What the fixed price locks in, and the variations a cheap quote leaves open.

Your fixed-price lock
  1. 1The site survey, costed.Soil, rock, fall and access measured and priced before contract. The conditions that blow other quotes out are named here.
  2. 2The pool, specified by name.Shell, size, depth, interior finish, coping and waterline, all named. No "or similar", no allowances to be "confirmed later".
  3. 3Plant, fencing and compliance.Pump, filtration, sanitiser, certified barrier and the compliance certificate, listed and included in the price.
  4. 4One fixed price, and the program.A single contract price with no provisional sums, beside a dated build program you can hold us to.
If the price can move mid-job, it was never a fixed price.

What's locked in

  • A site survey and soil test before any number is quoted
  • QBCC licence and insurance on every quote
  • One fixed contract price, no provisional sums
  • Fencing and compliance certification in the price
  • A dated build program you can hold us to

Where the cheap quote moves

  • A headline "from" price with the hard bits left as allowances
  • Provisional sums for rock, access and fencing, ballooning mid-build
  • Cash to start, then variations once the hole is open
  • Compliance "your responsibility" buried in the fine print
  • A vague start date and a crew that vanishes between stages

Watch this before you book

The questions every customer asks, answered once.

How much does a pool cost on the Sunshine Coast?
Most full concrete family pools land between $65,000 and $110,000, plunge and courtyard pools from around $35,000, and premium pools with full surrounds beyond $120,000. The biggest swing is the ground: rock, slope and access. We survey those before we quote, so your fixed price already accounts for them and does not move later.
What is a provisional sum, and how do you avoid them?
A provisional sum is a placeholder amount in a contract for work that has not been properly priced yet, often the rock, access or fencing. It is the number that grows once the dig starts. We test the site first and price the whole job, so our quotes carry no provisional sums at all.
How long does it take to build a pool?
A typical concrete family pool runs about 8 to 12 weeks from dig to handover, depending on the site, the weather and the surrounds. We give you a dated build program with the fixed price, so you know the stages and the finish date before you sign.
Should I choose concrete or fibreglass?
Concrete is built in place to any shape and depth and lasts decades, but costs more up front. Fibreglass is faster and cheaper but comes as a fixed shape off a truck. We build concrete, and we will tell you honestly if fibreglass suits your block and budget better.
Do I need pool fencing, and do you arrange compliance?
Every pool in Queensland needs a compliant safety barrier and a certificate. We include the fence and the certification in the fixed price and handle the inspection, so it is never the surprise bill that turns up after the water does.
What warranty comes with an Aqualine pool?
The concrete structure carries a written 10-year structural warranty. Equipment carries the manufacturer warranties, which we register to you at handover, and your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply on top.
